| Here is a shot of the Chumuckla School Road from the gin area. The mill house is the only one left of many that used to line the road under the pecan trees. It has been restored and updated nicely. Jim Campbell - (Grandfather of James E. Campbell II) planted a whole grove of pecan trees in this area about 1895 when he was a teenager. The large grove that used to exist to the right of the picture was this planting. The trees shown here are probably not from that era. They look a good deal "younger".
