COON HILL CEMETERY Disclaimer: We at Chumuckla.net are displaying these links for the purpose of Historical Study & Heritage Research, we hold a sense of Community pride in our background and have no ties to the ghost hunters or paranormal groups. We realize some people will find the temptation great to visit such sites for that purpose, but we ask everyone to respect the cemeteries and the family ancestors that are buried there. Florida's Official stance is, it is a Felony to vandalize a Cemetery! Those that have already, you might not get caught by anyone that can stop you, but remember, those bad deeds will be returned 2 fold. (what goes around, comes around). The next time something bad happens to you, your just paying back your bad deeds.
March 2007 Special Notice:
The recent damages to Coon Hill Cemetery were in excess of $50,000. The board of directors and families associated with the cemetery are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of those who destroyed the property. To send donations to boost the reward funds or the repair funds, please send your check to "Coon Hill Cemetery" c/o Alvin Enfinger .... . The gate to the cemetery is being moved a mile and a half South to further deter vandals.
